The club are sad to announce that we are losing the services of one of their most consistant backs from the last couple of seasons, when Lee Spence emigrates to New Zealand with his family this week.

A Scotland Rugby League International and with two 1st XV tries so far this season, (Frank) Spencer brought a lot of experience and pace to a side that appreciated his efforts through a difficult period at the club. The club wishes him all the best for his future plans as a personal fitness instructor in New Zealand, and he can expect one or two of the boys to descend upon him when the World Cup moves on to the islands in 4 years time.

He can also emigrate safe in the knowledge that the burd he is leaving behind will be tenderly cared for by the boys, and she is in good hands! It is the least we can do!
